Author Guidelines

Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting. Manuscripts that do not follow them may be returned before review.

Manuscript preparation

• Submit the manuscript as an editable file (.docx, .rtf or .odt). PDF is accepted only for supplementary material.
• Use a single column, 1.5 line spacing, and number all pages and lines continuously.
• Include a structured abstract of no more than 300 words and 4–8 keywords.
• Organise research articles as: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions.
• Place tables and figures at the end of the file, each with a numbered caption. Supply figures at a resolution suitable for print (300 dpi or vector).
• Report methods in enough detail that the work could be repeated by a competent researcher.

References

Use a single, consistent citation style throughout the manuscript and list all references in full. Include DOIs where they exist.

Declarations

Every submission must include statements covering funding, competing interests, author contributions, data availability, and ethical approval and consent where applicable.

Submission checklist

• The submission is original and is not under consideration by another journal.
• All authors have approved the manuscript and agree to its submission.
• Any third-party material is used with permission and properly attributed.
• Contact details for all authors, including ORCID iDs where available, are provided.
